Five entries were selected in the Japanese-to-English category.  The translations of award winners and finalists are as follows:

JAT received 35 valid entries for the Japanese-to-English division
and 83 valid entries for the English-to-Japanese division of its 8th
annual translation contest by close of entries on November 18, 2011.

After much deliberation, the judges awarded the prizes.
