The "Freelance Act" (formally known as the Act on Facilitating Proper Transactions Involving Specified Entrusted Business Operators) took effect in November 2024, bringing significant changes to how translators interact with agencies and direct clients.
We are pleased to host an official from the Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) for an in-depth session. We will explore critical topics such as "Clear Disclosure of Terms" and "Prohibited Practices," focusing on real-world scenarios specific to the translation industry.
Please note that this seminar will be conducted in Japanese only. No interpretation will be provided.
