バックグラウンド

Currently employed as a Coordinator for International Relations at a city office in Japan. Over 5 years, the content of this job has allowed me to obtain experience in translation and interpreting in many different contexts, from tourism information to administration, and from correspondence to cultural heritage. I can leverage my experience to provide trustworthy and accurate translations.

Achievements and qualifications:

• MA in East Asian Studies from Leiden University (graduated cum laude in 2015)
• Studied at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, the Japan Foundation's International Center in Osaka, and worked as an intern at the Dejima Restoration Office (Nagasaki City)
• JLPT N1 (2015)
• Business Japanese Test (BJT), J1+
• Successfully finished the JET Programma Translation and Interpreting Course (2015 and the advanced class in 2018)
• Participated in JAT's eJuku Spring 2020-session
