Born in Japan, lived in the US for 34 years. Owned and managed language schools, translation/interpreting services, tour operating services for 20 years in the US. Worked as the executive director of Japan Society of South Florida, published Florida News, etc. Returned to Japan in 2001 and taught business translation and interpreting at Seisen University for 10 years. 40 some years of experience in translation and interpreting both in the US and Japan. Was a certified court interpretor and has done extensive interpreting in both district courts and federal courts. Worked as a translator/interpretor for various Japanese and US corporations and law firms involved in litigations. Currently, I have translated how-to books and wrote articles on e-magazine, called Eigo Town for four years.
