Interpretation experience  (both consecutive and simultaneous) includes fields in manufacturing (electronic parts, glass, ISO9001/14001, OHSAS), engineering, IT, sales, marketing, apparel, utilities and energy, food and beverage, as well as interpreting for the mayor at a city government (city policies, economy, sister-city relations, education, tourism, environment, and disaster prevention) 

バックグラウンド

I have more than ten years of experience as a Japanese-English interpreter in both private and public sectors, with competency in facilitating interactions between foreign and Japanese businesses and governments. I work with a variety of firms to maximize the breadth of my interpreting skills. In addition to this, I have many years of experience in fields such as manufacturing, engineering, IT, retail, sales/marketing and utilities. I am experienced not only in on-site interpretation, but also RSI (Remote Simultaneous Interpreting). I am working independently in Tokyo and I am open to requests including assignments requiring domestic and international travel.
