バックグラウンド

2018年より、観光や日本の文化遺産を専門とし、クライアントの事業や地域・まちのビジョンをグローバルに発信するとともに、日本をより身近に感じてもらえるよう努めています。

担当した観光関連のプロジェクトは数百件にのぼり、ウェブサイトや広報資料から、日本各地の主要観光地向けコンテンツまで幅広く手がけてきました。大学では文化人類学を専攻し、日本の精神文化についても深く学んだ経験から、神道、仏教、修験道をはじめ、巡礼路や祭礼、歴史や文化遺産に関する翻訳を数多く担当しています。

企業関連の翻訳も100件以上にのぼり、CSR資料、会社案内、IR関連コンテンツ、サステナビリティ報告書、経営計画、人事関連文書、広報・マーケティング資料、四半期・年次報告書、企業ウェブサイト全体などを幅広く翻訳しています。

翻訳に加え、原文の枠を超え、世界の読者に響くようにアレンジするトランスクリエーションや、旅行関連コンテンツの執筆、校正・編集・リライト業務も承っております。

Specializing in tourism and Japan's cultural heritage, since 2018 I have been working to bring my clients' visions for their businesses, towns, and regions to the global stage, while helping make Japan more accessible to the international community.

I have completed several hundred tourism-related projects, covering everything from websites and PR materials to content for top destinations. My background in anthropology and Japan’s spiritual traditions informs my frequent translations on Shinto, Buddhism, and Shugendo mountain asceticism, as well as pilgrimage routes, festivals, and historic and cultural heritage sites.

I have also translated over 100 corporate projects, ranging from CSR materials, company profiles, investor relations content, sustainability reports, and management plans to HR documents, PR and marketing materials, quarterly and annual reports, and full company websites.

Besides translation, I offer transcreation for content that needs to go beyond the original Japanese, making it more engaging and relevant for global audiences, and especially international travelers. I also provide travel-related content writing, as well as proofreading, editing, and rewriting services.
