バックグラウンド
Hana Kawashima Ransom is an ATA-certified translator (E>J) and a published author. She graduated from Tsuda University in Japan, and also has a Master of Education from University of Texas at Austin. Her 27 years of work as a translator include press release translating jobs for a newspaper company in New York, and freelance work. She also taught Japanese as a university lecturer, and published two ESL books, one of which became the #1 bestseller in its category on Amazon Japan. She started her own YouTube channel in 2020 (www.youtube.com/c/RansomHanaTV) and is teaching translation online to prospective translators.
