バックグラウンド

Having lived in Japan for over three years, I offer Japanese-to-English and Japanese-to-German translation with a deep understanding of both language and culture. I have over two years of experience in the field of translation and localization and hold the JLPT N1 certification as well as a full score TOEIC certificate.  My main areas of expertise include manga, gaming, and entertainment content, where I aim to create natural, engaging translations with an authentic feel for the target audience. My work on manga translations has provided me with the experience of handling tricky elements like onomatopoeia and adapting dialogue while staying true to its original nuances. My passion for Japanese pop culture and gaming helps me bring projects to life in a way that resonates with an international audience. Beyond that, I also work on general content and business translations, historical documents, subtitling and patent translation with great attention to detail.
