Background

文化庁の22・23年のJLPP国際翻訳コンクールで本審査対象者に選出される。これまでにNHKのロンドン支局で18年間以上リサーチャー・プロデューサーとして勤務。その他、ドキュメンタリー、コーポレートビデオ、CMなどの制作や、 メディア関連とは別の様々な役割にも携わる。趣味は読書(英語・日本語)、炊事、ハイキング、映画鑑賞、など。 I’ve been shortlisted for two years running in the Government of Japan’s Agency for Cultural Affairs’ annual JLPP international translation competition. Previously, I worked for over 18 years as a researcher-producer in NHK’s London bureau, in addition to working on documentaries, corporate videos and adverts. I’ve also had various roles outside of the media. My hobbies include reading novels (in English and Japanese) and non-fiction, cooking, hiking and films.
