Background

I am a NAATI (the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) certified translator from English to Japanese and a certified provisional interpreter in English and Japanese with over 25 years of experience in Australia. I help the government and businesses to communicate with Japanese audiences and Japanese communities in Australia to get better access to information and overcome the language barrier. I am also an active member of AUSIT (Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators). I am an active member of AUSIT (Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators), also a member of ATA (American Translators Association) Ichigoichie (一期一会) is a Japanese proverb, which means you should take care of every moment when you meet everyone. It may not come again. I value each connection. Are you looking for a human translator and an interpreter in the age of AI, who cares about quality, confidentiality, and trust. My clients often say they appreciate my services and are happy to work with me again. This feedback is what keeps me going. Please also look at what my clients are saying about me in the recommendation section below. I am also a permaculturist and a community cook. I care deeply about the environment and sustainability. I translate between my tiny kitchen and my garlic patch. I grow my vegetables in my local community garden and cook healthy vegetarian meals using the freshest organic produce for my friends and family. A healthy work-life balance is a top priority for me.
