IJET-31

IJET is finally back!
IJET-31 (the first IJET conference in four years) will take place on the 24th and 25th of June 2023 at Tokyo Big Sight in Ariake, Tokyo. The theme of this year’s conference will be “On stage or backstage—翻訳通訳の可視性”, a consideration of when the translator should remain behind the scenes and anonymous, and when he or she should instead assume a more prominent role.
A star-studded line-up of presenters is being assembled and the conference’s accompanying networking events (the zenyasai and banquet) will offer attendees the chance to mingle freely once again in the spectacular setting of the Tokyo Bay waterfront.
