Happy New Year to everyone, and welcome to the Year of the Fire Horse, 2026!
We are pleased to announce a New Year’s dinner party in Kyoto for a second year in a row, given the success of last year’s party with two full tables of revelers.
The event will feature a two-hour all-you-can-drink, all-you-can-eat plan, so pay in advance on the JAT website and come hungry. You are sure to enjoy the evening, which will likely spill over to another venue nearby as the clock strikes 7:00 p.m.
Both practising translators, translation students, and others interested in the profession are warmly welcome.
Let’s enjoy good yakitori and have lively conversations together in Ponto-cho, two blocks from the Kamogawa (a little closer to Sanjo than Shijo-Kawaramachi)!
