The Kansai-Area Translators (KAT) of JAT is hosting a Zansho Party in Osaka this September! As the summer heat is expected to linger well into the autumn months, let’s gather at a rooftop beer garden to cool off and enjoy good conversation with fellow translators and interpreters, rain or shine.
This is a great opportunity to relax and discuss a range of topics, from translation and interpreting work to studying, career development, and daily life.
Aspiring translators and newcomers to the field are especially welcome! This will be a casual, friendly event where everyone can feel comfortable joining in.
Before the party, we are also planning a mini study tour (optional, about 1–2 hours) in the Osaka Umeda area for those interested. The tour may include a museum or other site that requires admission; in this case, each participant will be responsible for their own admission or any additional costs.
