After you find something you want to translate enough that you decide to do it on your own, you need to get permissions from the copyright holders. Who are they? How do you get their permission? What permissions do you need? And then, after you finish the translation, who owns the copyright on that? What is copyright, anyway, and how does it work? How do you get one? These and other questions will be covered on December 10, 2012, by Uenuma Shino, a copyright lawyer working in Tokyo. As usual, there will be time for questions.
