バックグラウンド

• Masters and PhD in Engineering, University of Tokyo at the Department of Architecture and Earthquake Research Institute
• BS Civil Engineering, University of the Philippines; Licensed Civil and Structural Engineer
• JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) level 1 in 2004; Interpretation training for medical interpreters, interpretation training for Aichi Expo 2005 and tourism bureaus
• 15 years part-time translation experience in a wide variety of fields; 3 years full-time

Lived in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for over a year; Lived in Tokyo then Nagoya since 1998.

I provide well-researched and readable English translations even of documents that are highly technical in nature. I also proofread, review and edit for publication.

• 東京大学で修士号と博士号を取得（建築学、構造）。
• フィリピン大学を卒業後、建築・土木業界で建築，橋梁，高速道路等のプロジェクトに携わった。 大学院を修了後、大成建設国際営業事業部や名古屋大学（特任助教）等、日本企業や大学に勤務経験あり。 平成12年より、学術論文・技術資料翻訳、学術論文編集、英文校正に加え、外国人向け観光資料翻訳、医療通訳や教育・科学技術用字幕などの経験を積んだ。平成25年より、翻訳、通訳、英文校正等に専業。
