Completed primary and secondary education in Japan, including a year in the U.S. on a high school exchange program, followed by undergraduate and graduate studies in California. Upon receiving an MA and a professional exam certificate (E to J and J to E translation) from MIIS in 2011, worked as an in-house patent translator in Silicon Valley.
