JAT TAC Online Seminar: filing a consumption tax return

The seminar will run for 60 minutes.
Overview & Practical Advice… 50 minutes
Q&A… 10 minutes

Seminar overview

The Qualified Invoice Storage Method (Invoice System) was implemented from October 1, 2023, and there are many translators and interpreters that have registered for the system. This means that after filing an income tax return, they must also file a consumption tax return.

2 Special exception for a percentage of taxable income? Simplified taxation? Principle taxation? There are many documents to be submitted via e-Tax and it is difficult to know which to choose to when submitting documentation. Are different documents required depending on whether the result is a tax payment or a refund?

Many people may be confused about filing a consumption tax return for the first time. These and other worrying questions will be answered in this seminar.

*The seminar will be conducted in Japanese.

We are also hoping to collect questions for JAT/TAC's seminar on filing consumption tax returns. During the seminar, the speaker will answer questions from a tax accountant's point of view.
