Outline:
This meeting is organized in response to the requests from TAC meeting participants for more information about TAC tools. This session will introduce how CAT tools can assist translators with their translations, improving consistency and efficiency in their target-language documents. Following the introduction, certain CAT tools will be demonstrated. There will also be Q&A time so the audience can ask how to questions to learn more about the CAT tools’ functionality.

Quality Assurance and Coordinator for J2E Translations & Post-editing projects.
Eri manages memoQ online projects daily to handle projects consisting of more than 6 million characters per year.


Hiroshi Nakayasu

Kawamura International
Production Group Senior Manager
Hiroshi started working at Kawamura International in 2006 as a project manager of localization projects for domestic and global companies. He currently manages the translation team as Production Group Senior Manager for Kawamura International. He leads the internal Process Automation project, and is working on introducing the integration of memoQ and Plunet.


Lisa Hew

Principal, Belle Translation Japan, Ltd.
Initially resistant toward CAT Tools, Lisa started using Felix at the beginning of her career, and she recently downloaded Déjà vu. She relies heavily on CAT Tools for her translation work. She plans to provide a non-technical explanation about CAT Tools.
