On Wednesday, November 16, we’ll be holding the JATPHARMA Tokyo meeting titled: Skill-Building for Biomedical Translators.

We hope this one-day workshop will provide an opportunity for all translators to think about skill-building strategies; which skills they should work on, regardless of how long they have been active as a Med/Pharma translator.

Venue: Tokyo Olympic Memorial Youth Center (Yoyogi, Shibuya ward)

Time: 9:30 to 17:00

There will be 3 sessions, each on themes related to skill-building (in random order)

Writing Like a Native(Ben Tompkins)

Structured Terminology: Building is Learning (Daisuke Yanase)

Survive and Thrive as a Medical/Pharma Translator (Lee Seaman, Sako Ikegami, Emiko Hara)

Purchase a bento from us or bring your own to eat at the networking lunch. There will be a networking dinner afterwards. Ticket sales end at 23:30 on Monday, November 14.
