PROfessional Japanese-English Conferences on Translation (PROJECTs) are JAT’s one-day conferences that cover various aspects of translation and the translation business.
Introducing Online PROJECT 2020: an online conference spanning a 27-hour period in which JAT members, translators and students of translation from around the world are invited to learn and interact from the comfort of their own homes.
Online PROJECT 2020 will consist of seven sessions. The sessions on translation will cover the fields of literature, entertainment, law, patents and pharmaceuticals. Online PROJECT 2020 will also feature a session on interpreting and a panel discussion on the realities of translation and interpreting in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. Speakers and moderators will be invited from the US, UK, Australia, and Japan.
