JAT is pleased to welcome Mr. Koichi Kikuchi—a Japanese patent attorney and Director of DEN IP Solutions, a patent translation company specializing in the field of information and communications technology—as our speaker for the March TAC/Patent joint event. In his two-part presentation, he will introduce technology trends in the fields of telecommunications and image processing, and will also talk about what patent translators need to know to survive the age of Artificial Intelligence.
Good patent translation is not only about linguistic skills and legal knowledge; it also calls for an understanding of technology. Catch the latest technological trends and hone your translation skills at this seminar.
This seminar will be highly informative for translators with or without experience in the patent field and also for patent practitioners involved in translation. There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.

Speaker profile:
Mr. Koichi Kikuchi is the Director of DEN IP Solutions, a patent translation company based in Setagaya, Tokyo and specializing in the field of information and communications technology. He passed the Japanese patent bar exam in 2004, and teaches part-time at Tokai University.
