This year, the annual JTF Translation Festival offers 24 lectures professionals in the translation field. Learn the needs, expectations and projections of end clients and translation company management and administration. Glean tricks of the trade specific to freelance translators in four sessions led by JAT members, and gain insight into translation education. Cap off the experience with the 60-minute product presentations and chats with representatives of more than 20 translation-related companies.

JAT is sponsoring a full track of sessions targeting freelance translators. Richard Walker and Paul Flint will reveal ways to make business tasks flow smoother, enabling you to focus more on your translation work. Mike Sekine will lay out ideas for self-protection against unfair agency dealings. David Stormer will guide us in toward better quality control, while Fred Uleman will attack those deceivingly easy phrases that often end up taking all day to translate.

Hope to see many JAT members at the JTF Festival!
