The 24th JTF Translation Festival will be held on November 26, 2014, from 9:00 to 17:30, with a networking party from 18:30 to 20:30. (venue: Arcadia Ichigaya, 2-minute walk from JR Ichigaya Station, Chiyoda-ku Tokyo)
Enjoy 24 90-minute sessions, 6 1-hour sessions, and over 30 vendor displays in the Honyaku Plaza.
The JTF Translation Festival offers sessions for translation clients, translation companies, and individual translators - something for everyone!
This year's JAT Track features 4 sessions presented by our esteemed JAT colleagues:
9:30 - An Introduction to the Dos and Don'ts of Legal translation (Sarah Bull)
11:00 - Stealin' Time (time management and translation styles) (Daniel MacLeith, Doug Durgee, Wendy Uchimura, Tobias Rushbrook)
13:00 - 医薬品特許無効審判・侵害訴訟に伴う翻訳業務 (丸岡英明）
16:00 - Developing the Agency-Translator Relationship (Sako Ikegami, William Taylor, Paul Flint, Akira Tominaga)
