I would like to invite you to the Japan Association of Translators' Ordinary General Meeting (previously referred to as “Annual General Meeting”) to be held in Sendai, Japan, on June 18, 2016, immediately following the last IJET session of the day.

A member who is unable to attend a General Meeting for unavoidable reasons may vote in writing or by electronic means on the matters notified in advance (except for item 4), or may delegate the voting to another member as proxy (Article 27 of the JAT Teikan, and JAT Bylaws Section V (2)). Ballots and proxy forms will be available on the JAT website from June 6.
Date and time of OGM: June 18, 2015 (Saturday), 16:15-17:15
Place of OGM: Exhibition Hall, Rooms 1 & 2, Sendai International Center, Sendai, Japan
Please don’t forget that the JAT Election is underway right now. Candidate declarations and endorsements must be submitted by May 29 (22:00 JST). The online voting and OGM ballot submission period will be held concurrently, from June 6 to June 13.
