About the Workshop
Following on from our 2012 workshop on articles of incorporation, we will in this workshop translate and discuss as a group some of the key provisions of Japanese corporations' Board of Directors Regulations. If you have any particular provisions you'd like to discuss, please feel free to email them to us in advance.
The Workshop will be taught in English, with questions and comments accepted in English or Japanese.
About the speakers
Kyal Hill has a Masters in Japanese Interpreting and Translation (MAJIT), has 9 years’ experience in legal translation, and is studying law in an Australian JD.
Sarah Bull is a legal translator with a Masters in Japanese Interpreting and Translation (MAJIT) and 4 years of experience working in house as part of the translation team at a major Tokyo law firm. She made the switch to freelance last year and, in addition to her freelance translation work, also teaches translation at Sophia University and Temple University.
Cost: JAT members free, non-members 1,000 yen.
