JAT is currently experiencing a shortage in volunteers. We an organization built on the contribution of our members. The more people volunteer, the more we can do. Conversely, the less volunteers we have, the less we can do. Many of our activities are at risk of being seriously reduced, or halted altogether.
But volunteering is not only a way to give back to JAT and the translation community. It is a way connect with new colleagues, give back to the industry, and gain experience and skills which can only help you as a translator or interpreter.
If you have found benefit from JAT and would like to give something back, we urge you to consider becoming a volunteer. Below is a list of areas which are particularly in need of volunteers.

- - expand your translation network
- learn skills in online and offline event management
