Translator Perspectives 2023 Now Available
JAT is pleased to announce this year's anthology of insightful essays, Translator Perspectives 2023, is available on the website.
Translators and interpreters working between Japanese and English face myriad problems on a daily basis. Some of them have routine solutions. Many do not. While the internet is a treasure trove of information resources, we still have to understand how to find and use those resources to best effect. Some of this is skills. Some is mindset. The essays in this year's anthology can help with both, for they describe how other translators and interpreters discover the answers they need—and the issues that still need working on. We hope you will read it and find it beneficial. And we hope you will be in next year's.
